Based in London's Barbican. Popular songs : Don't Count On the Boys, Go For It, Strange Dream, Reaction, Can't Sleep Anymore, Got You In My Heart Girl, Keep You In Mind. Brian Davison left in 1982 replaced by Paul Cuthbert. Andy Rowe left in late 1982 to be replaced by Leigh Tarrant.
Some music demo's appeared. Also early 'pop' video's emerged in 1984. 'Poor Boy' Video was quite popular at the time and circulated to gain recognition for the band.
Band played many dates across the UK. Notable venues are : Embassy Club, London. - Rock Garden, Covent Garden -
The Ad-Lib, Kensington - Queens Hotel, Brighton - Middlx Poly Trent Park, London -
Highlights include : Often supported The Dirty Strangers. Dog D'Amour supported Prime Cut (Fulham, Greyhound) Prime Cut supported world famous KODO drummers at London's Jubilee Gardens (Oct 1985). Band were nearly signed by Brian Longley and Billy Zigmount (Imagination fame) sometime in late 1984.
Band never gained a recording contract but came close a few times. Band disbanded late 1985.
